Womens Triathlon Series – A Great Start
The world of womens triathlon has changed a lot over the years. There are a lot of women only triathlon events that have been springing up, especially in recent years. It is really a great way for a woman to get involved in triathlons, especially if she is a little timid about getting started. A lot of women around the country will use a womens triathlon as their first even because they are often surrounded by many other first time women participants. Most triathletes have a decent amount of respect for any person that is going to put their effort into the sport but a womens only triathlon still might be a little more comfortable for some. There are several locations including Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and San Diego that hold these type of events. Any woman that wants to get started in this tremendous sport should be able to find one relatively close to home. The most popular womens triathlon is the Danskin Triathlon, which happens to be in its 20th anniversary year. This particular triathlon series is held in several locations around the country. Good luck to all the women that are participating (or thinking of participating) in womens triathlon events!
